Following shows in Boston and New Orleans last year, lovemusic, is back in the USA for a show at Constellation this February as part of the legendary Frequency concert series . The show features two world premieres by Chicagoan Kelley Sheehan and Fernando Manassero, as well as several other works commissioned by lovemusic in recent years including University of Chicago faculty - David Bird. These works blend acoustic instruments with sound objects, electronics, lights, and text. Each piece has a retro, lo-fi, nostalgic touch, bringing a personal and warm human feel to cutting-edge new music. lovemusic’s projects in Chicago are organised in collaboration with the University of Chicago.
